Hi my name is Chris I've had 2 major back surgeries one at 15yrs old due to a car accident that left me paralyze from waist down for about 5 months and got feeling back little by little and got myself walking again. I'm 52 now about 15yrs ago I got into working out and it became a addition. Well I did a lot of damage to my disks from herniated to bulging disk along with my first injury of crushed L1 at 15yrs old. My 2nd surgery was a nite mare and should have never had it.
It went from a minor surgery to a major one and I didn't look into it enough, the doctor pulled 2 disk out and replaced them with rods and screws
It took him 7 hours and he said would only take 3
I've been in torture with pain ever since I've been to 3 other surgeons did physical therapy. Been on meds and will do and try anything that might help. My question is or I wish I could just numb the area in my lower back where most my pain is just to not feel it and I see they add a numbing medication in with pain meds. Is there anyone out there that is on it or have used a pump that has numbing meds and morphine in it and does the numbing meds help. Any info would help thanks
