A successful fusion!

I had fusion of l2 l3 on March 4th. I am sooo happy to report I am free of all meds and for the most part free of pain. I'd say I am 85% recovered! I am so happy and I truly believe it is because I kept (although hard at times) a positive attitude and did as much walking as possible and did my pt and pushed myself. I didn't overdo but I didn't under do either. It would have been so much easier to stay in the recliner but I didn't, I got up and moved a lot and my boyfriend gave me massages which I believed helped encourage the healing. I have also resumed my aerobic work out! I believe I will be back to work full-time right before my 3 month anniversary. Stay positive and walk everyone, I know its hard but I truly believe it helps so I wanted to share!

  • Good to hear great news.

Keep us updated on your progress. There are plenty of us too scared to pick anything up off the floor, let alone go to an aerobics class!
