Cervical Bone Stimulator

Hello all,
At my 2 week post surgical visit for C6-7 fusion I got my new Cervical Bone stimulator. It is like a collar that I wear around my neck for 4 hours a day. Wondering how many of you have used these units and what your opinions are regarding them?
I think I got mine because I am a type one diabetic and am at risk for not fusing. I was told that I would not feel anything in my neck when i am wearing it but strangely I feel a bit of discomfort at the right side of my surgical site not scar but at vertebral level. I am going to call the rep today and ask her a few questions. Pretty funny I do set off alarms when I leave my nursing home where I was working before surgery. Like the fact that I can break down the wearing time into as many sections as possible as long as I wear it for an hour the first time. Just looking for feedback from others who have used one of these devices or even maybe people that have used a bone stimulator on their low back too. Thank you,

I had to wear one for a couple months with hopes of avoiding a second fusion surgery. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. My biggest complaint while wearing it was that it gave me horrible headaches! I tried to break up the 4 hours, but I still got the headaches.
I really hope it helps you have a successful fusion!
