Pain 11 Weeks after Discectomy that is scaring me!

I had a discectomy on L4L5 on March 19. This was my second one, I had one on L3L4 in 2011.Went back to work on May 4 as a rep for an appliance company without any restrictions except for don't do anything stupid. I was feeling really good and didn't have any pain. On Saturday, I was bending over doing some yard work and felt a little twinge of pain. On Sunday it was a little worse but nothing that was scary. On Monday I was bent over cleaning out a fridge for display when I felt pain in my back and it radiated down my legs but stopped in my thighs not all the way down like pre surgery. The pain took my breath away. Now the pain comes and goes when I bend. I called the surgeon yesterday but haven't heard back from him as I left the information with his medical assistant. Now I'm scared that something has happened. Has anyone else had this experience?

I am under the impression, 11 weeks is not enough to know... if some activities hurt, is limiting that activity an alternative? Sorry I ve not had my surgery yet.
MRI shows C4-C7 severe steonosis. Pain in hand.
  • I saw my orthopedic surgeon on July 1 and he said we had 3 options:
    1. Steroid shot
    2. Physical therapy
    3. Wait it out
I chose option 3 since the pain has gone down since that incident. He said if it wasn't better in 30 days, then to make another appointment. 99% of the time, the back pain is gone and I just have some cramping in my legs. So I will just wait and see. Again he said not to do anything stupid.
