On 10/13/2014 my surgery was 3 1/2 hours. I had a decompressive lumbar laminectomy L1 to S1, pedicle screws and posterdateral fusion. Since that surgery I have not been able to stand up straight and walk. As the day goes on I bend forward more. I have to walk with a cane. Doctor ordered 18 sessions of physical therapy which did not help. Now the Doctor said I don't stand up straight because I am in pain, which is not true and ordered pain meds. The Doctor acts like he does not understand what is the problem. In January started having nerve pain in my left leg exactly as before the surgery. Had an xray and MRI and it shows no reason for either problem. I lost my job since I could not go back to work in 12 weeks. I am so much worse now than before the surgery. I only saw one person on your posts that could not stand up straight and walk.
Did she ever get better?
