Ryan EyoRRyan Eyo Posts: 1
Hello. 8 months ago on holiday I kicked a ball into a pool landed funny and subsequently. Got sciatica had 6 weeks of work and done physio and that was it. But then the other week I got of f a train and couldn't walk sat on platform and have since spent 7 days in bed unable to move with worse back pain and sciatica than before. I was weeing into a bottle for 5 days. I have slight numbness in my leg but my back is killing and obv my buttock. I am ok tramadol and Valium. The only this is the doctor just wants me to try stay on these until it's gone where I want a MRI scan. He says go physio 1st which I am. But as I know the instant I got sciatica the jolt in the pool. Is it more likely I have a problem with a disc in my back. Iam 33 and my job depends on my being active and this is second time in 7 months Iam off sick. I can't have this time and time again. Am I right to want a scan and you think it will show damage. Iam in UK and understand nhs don't just do everything. And Iam even considering paying myself This pain is horrible And don't want this again in my life. physio alone hasn't helped it not come back yet. That's all I am being offered

(Sorry for long question)
