Hey! I am 3 months post spinal fusion on L5-S1. I was doing pretty good then my pain started coming back and now I am in just as much pain as I was before surgery. We did an MRI last night and I got the results but no call from the Doctor! I wanted to see if someone could help me with the "Positive" results. Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!!! Here they are:

Apparent postsurgical scarring/granulation tissue fills the entire L5-S1
neural foramina to the right of midline. The only apparent interval change
compared with prior study is apparent slight decrease in the robustness of
the enhancement pattern.
Five non-rib bearing lumbar type vertebral bodies. The lumbar spine is in
the normal anatomic alignment.
Dephasing artifact from from combined instrumented anterior and posterior
spinal fusion procedure at L5-S1. Right laminectomy changes. Field
heterogeneity results in some the signal alteration in the vicinity of
In addition, there is persistent abnormal soft tissue centered within the
right-sided neural foramina at L5-S1. Low level enhancement persists. The
degree of enhancement appears somewhat less robust than on 03/03/2015. No
convincing change in the amount of the soft tissue in this region though
exact measurements are difficult this fills the entire right-sided neural
foramina and extends slightly into the right lateral recess. No organized
fluid collection.
Vertebral bodies are of normal height without compression fractures. The
bone marrow demonstrates normal signal intensity on all sequences. The
conus medullaris is at the level of L1-L2 and the distal spinal cord signal
intensity is normal.
Disc desiccation at L3-4 and L4-5 levels. Suspected annular tear and a
small broad based posterior disc bulge at L4-5. Mild hypertrophy of the
ligamentum flavum and minimal foraminal stenosis. Persistent minimal left
foraminal stenosis at L5-S1 with a mild facet osteoarthritis at this level.
There remains persistent apparent occlusion of the right-sided neural
