Three years ago I had a cervical fusion to avoid paralysis in my right arm. I regained about 65% of my strength back which was sufficient for me.
March 24 I had an L4/5 fusion with hardware to alleviate sciatica and re align my vertebrae. As you know while waiting to fuse fully no NSAIDS ca be taken.
My shoulders are in chronic pain and I find lifting an object above shoulder height strenuous. I fear that it is another cervical issue. Could it just be a progression of arthritis that taking any inflamitories masked. I'm not sure I could endure another cervical surgery.
