Wishful Thinking

I met with my surgeon today and had the staples removed from my back where he went in and removed the hardware. I have to say it feels so much better as I had 20 of them in my back. I was thinking he would not have to go back into my back when I have my ALIF fusion L3/4 L4/5 on July 9th since he just removed all the hardware but he told me he was going to still have to do some more work back there although it would not be as intrusive.

The constant pain I was having was due to loose screws and hardware that came loose from a MVA I was involved in approximately 11 months after my last fusion. That pain is now gone so I'm very optimistic that this surgery is going to work. I am so sick and tired of back pain!
