I am a 30 years old male and i have a L5-S1 disk protrusion which is shown at a MRI result since 1 year ago for an unknown reason ( I don't know the exact reason of facing this problem) and i wan to know which exercises or workouts can convert this protrusion disk to an extrusion disk? I ask it because i do a large range of exercises and i need to know to worst exercises using dumbbells or without dumbbells that can convert it to an extrusion disk? I know dead-lift and squat are bad ones but i want to know further and worst exercises. Thank you all in advance.

  • Can you get a prescription for some physical therapy? Mine was great at laying out my restrictions & teaching me how to do things the right way. I've never been a gym girl so I don't know the names of all the 'stuff' but I know that anything that jars the spine is out. Running, jumping, jogging are all at the top of the restriction list I was given when I just had a herniation at that level many years ago.
