Hi Everyone, just looking for some advise please.
14 months ago I awoke to a stiff neck, and thought I had slept awkwardly, within a couple of days I had pain radiating down my left arm, made worse by looking down or tilting my head. I also started with pins & needles in my left hand, had an MRI which showed c6-c7 herniated disc. I decided to have a nerve root injection done which relived the pain but I still had the tingling, numbness sensation. About 6 months ago I had an EMG test and it showed that I had damage to the nerve, I decided not to have surgery as the pain had gone, and thought I would just get used to the tingling/numbness, and to be honest up until 2 weeks ago I have been ok. I was involved in a minor car accident but didn't have any pain in my neck at the time, like I said this all started 2 weeks ago which was after the accident.
I am now starting to get intermittent pain again radiating down my left arm, and have had some intermittent shooting pains in the base of my neck, and I have also noticed my vision seems to be going blurred.,
but again it's not happening all the time.
Should I be worried, and go back to see the neurosurgeon or is this just a flare up that happens?
