Anyone with butt/leg pain 3 months after surgery?

Hi guys/gals,

I had a microdiscemtomy at L5/S1 3 months ago and still have the butt and leg pain that I had before surgery if I sit too long or stand still too long. It's not excruciating but very uncomfortable and I'm starting to get very discouraged that I'm going to stay like this. I've heard that nerves can take some time to heal and I think my butt pain is actually sciatic nerve pain as I believe that is where the nerve starts.

I just needed to please hear from anyone who has had trouble this far out but ultimately gotten relief. I'm debating starting lyrica but tried neurontin one night and woke up super depressed so not sure if lyrica will do the same. Dr did a follow mri which showed relief of the herhustin but now said the scar tissue can be causing the pain. Anyone ever heard of that? I'm getting really depressed feeling like this every day and looking for hope. My prayers go out to everyone here with chronic pain.

Thanks a lot, Maria
