HI, looking to see if anyone has an advice help for me!
Im a 33 yr old male, average weight, decent health, no major injuries or events that I can remember caused the pain.
Ive been suffering chronic axial lumbar pain for over 15 years and chronic axial cervical pain for about 1 year.
I recently had a MRI and I have DDD with several bulging and protruding disks and a herniated L5-S1 disk. I also have super light hamstrings and calves which I can not seem to get to lengthen despite lots of stretching.
I have tried several pain medicines, oral steroids, cervical steroid injection, two rounds of PT including traction, dry needling, deep messages, stretching and other stuff. I have been stretching everyday for months and doing light strength training for months. I stay fairly active and exercise everyday.
At this point my cervical pain is the main problem ( I have learned to live with my back pain), I cant sit for very long without bad pain, I can hardly drive a car for more then 30 mins ( i have trying several different vehicles and every possible seating position I can think off). I also have had sleep problems for as long as I can remember.
Nothing so far has helped at all and the doctors dont think I need surgery . I am out of ideas and its getting to the point where I dont know how much longer I can take driving to work. My wife is having twin boys in 4 days and would like to figure something out soon!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
