Hi. I have been roaming the boards for years reading never asking or answering any questions.
4 years ago i got hurt on a construction site tore my rotor cuff and other muscles behind my shoulder.
After receiving a run around from the insurance company tiring to prove you are not hurt i was finally sent
to a surgeon, just to be told that if he had gotten me 9 months prior he could have operated. To make a long story shorter
pain meds wouldn't touch my pain , all that seemed to help was neurotin and cymblta.
After tiring everything in the world he helped me get a trail for the BS SCS. My trail was amazing, no all my pain was not gone
but for the first time in 4 years i got a hug from my grand baby, shirts did not hurt to wear, and i slept a full night sleep
without waking up and wishing that either the pain would stop or the good Lord would just take me out.
The reason for me to be telling all of you this now is I want people to hear unscripted honest response to a BS SCS.
The trail gave me about a 47% drop in pain, so I decided to go for the permanent implant. I had the implant done
4 days ago on the 9th, they put you under and when you wake up you are sporting to new cuts on your person.
After 10 days they are going to take out the stitches and turn on the SCS, the pain from the incisions in my opinion
does not hurt as bad as the pain i have been living with. Good bit of advice get some frozen peas helps take the swelling out
of the incision spots.
Thats all I can tell you as of now, if you would like to no more ask me and I will try to give it to you uncut and raw.
