I have been suffering from a spinal injury for almost 3 years
my History is i had a right shoulder rotator cuff surgery and left shoulder which may caused the area to be a little tight before my neck injury .
The Neck Spine situation:
i went to the gym to start working out...
one day i went swimming and i dove into the pool. I pulled my neck forward really quickly to dive in and i felt like i pulled something. i felt a little light headed after the swimming.
I thought it wasnt a big issue so i continue to working out and lift heavy things for the next few days in the gym. also include doing situps and pullups.
Later the pain got so bad and i was getting dizzy i had to stop. From there it never healed. first few month was bad it would hurt from neck to the center of the spine. I would easily get light headed.
After a year I was thinking i have injured or pull some ligaments so I went for 3 Platelet-Rich Plasma injections and it helped to around 50% but i still cannot workout or do any physical exercises or sports at all.
Now whenever i carry something heavy with both of my arms the center part of my spine would hurt and half of the spine from neck to middle will get sore the next day. Like when i do pushups or situps it is the same situation.
My neck area and rhomboid muscle area is quite tight. ive tried many things like releasing the nots with a ball and it feels like its only temporary release..
I have also went to a physio and done some exercises , where i use a exercise band to expand my arms out. That exercise made me back sore as well. But after few months of exercising still didnt see permanent improvement .
I have also gotten a MRI from the neck to the bottom of my spine and it did not show any significant injuries or anything.
I was wondering if anyone have any idea of my issue and what should i do.
Would a chiropractor help if i have compression in my spine? or should i go for massage therapy ?
Thanks a lot
