I had L3-L4 one level fusion done 10/7/14. Little I learned until now looking back, it does take time for a back surgery recovery!
I read many including my own complaints and many worries since I woke up right after my surgery in the hospital, the issues everyone has. I'm sorry to hear, believe or not, it does get better but takes time.

I am still doing my core exercises religiously everyday. I still have bad times and get some discomfort, mostly toward the later part of day since I don't rest or scratch enough. I found heat pad, really helps.
One thing I am wondering if anyone has a good car seat support? anytime during your post -op!
