I tested positive for THC today and I don't smoke nor am I ever around anyone that smokes weed. I demanded another test on the spot. I even offered to let them watch me do it. I was denied. So as of now my urine is off at lapcorp being tested. Though I'm wondering if it's even mine since they just have me lay it on a table and mark nothing. I've been extremely upset all day. How in the heck did I test positive for THC??! Has anyone else ever had or heard of this problem?? Please Help.! I feel like I'm marked or flagged now all for something I didn't even do..

So, as you suggested they may not have your blood samples. I would definitely fight this. This puts a mar on your records which I am sure you do not want.

I would talk to the doctor's business office, your insurance company and if necessary hire a legal representative.

Did your doctor tell you he would no longer work with you?

If he is still working with you, I would continue to work with him.
From now on, I would double check my urine specimen container and be sure it is labeled.
I say that to remind myself, also.
The label with your name and date should be on the cup itself, not on the lid.
When lids are removed, the lab can be accidentally in error.

I had one false positive where lab test read positive for hydromorphone...spelling sorry...
Anyway, I too, explained I only took meds he prescribed. He seemed to believe I was wrong, but did not dismiss me.
I was very nervous about it until the following month when everything back to normal.
And I've had no further issues with the urine samples. And his comments to my record are always about how compliant I am.

    Hang in there!
