Upcoming ACDF surgery

I am a 32 year old female and am having my 3rd back surgery, L4-L5 discectomy and laminectomy, which failed so ended up having L5-S1 fusion which was successful. I am meeting with the neurosurgeon on Friday to schedule an ACDF surgery. I have completed all the requirements for my insurance company to approve the procedure. I have tried all non-surgical treatments with no results. Physical therapy just agitated my neck more. It started out as having numbness and tingling down my left arm, since March of 2015 I have had it down my right arm as well. I also get debilitating headaches that radiate from my shoulder blades into the base of my neck, and nothing I do or take gets rid of the headache. I am wondering if anyone who had this surgery also experienced headaches, and if the surgery helped relieve them.
