Pulsed radio frequency neuromodulation - anyone had it ?

Hi, I had a microdiscectomy two months ago but apparently a bit of the disc is still touching the S1 nerve and I have terrible foot pain. Post-op steroid injections haven't really helped but we (me and pain management specialist) are trying to put off another surgery. On Tuesday I am going for 'Pulsed Radiofrequency Neuromodulation' where they zap the offending nerve with radio waves but do NOT heat it like in a radio frequency ablation or rhizotomy. Has anyone had this ? Did it work ? I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
