Hi. I'm 16 years old and I've been suffering from lower back pain for 3 years now. I have seen around 20 medical practitioners including physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncturists, pain specialists, orthopaedic surgeons, spinal surgeons, sports therapists etc... And as you can see I have pretty much run out of ideas. I have been discharged from all the hospitals as not one knew what was wrong with my back. Some people thought it was sacroiliac related. I have a "pseudoarticulation of the left ilium onto the left sacral ala" but no one knows if that could be the cause of pain, or any treatment options. I am seriously running out of ideas, and hope. My pain is all on the left side from the arch of my back, into my buttock and down the back of my leg to just above the knee. I am desperate to retrn to sport again, as it is a huge passion of mine. Can anyone help at all?
