Hi. I'm new here. At home now. My surgery went well. All of my radicular symptoms resolved with surgery. Just in a lot of pain from the surgery itself. What a process it is to get out of bed, I am learning to appreciate the daily victories. I'm a healthcare professional and have learned that we do indeed make the worst patients!!! I have a long road to recovery and I am not patient with myself at all. Any advice on not going stir crazy???

I was doing well. Lately I've been experiencing some symptoms in my left leg and back spasms when I lay down. Getting frustrated because I am not allowed to really stretch out or lift yet. It returned when I returned to work on my 3 10 hour days. I probably should be off more but cannot afford it. Mentally frustrated and scared. My patience has worn a bit thin. I know that time is a factor in the healing of the fusion. The last thing I want is for it to fail. Any advice would help to find my lost patience???
