Hi, I am Lori and am 55 years old. A Speech Pathologist by profession. I got hit between the eyes by a large autistic student in May 2014. I had cervical fusion on May 28 2015. I have a good surgeon, highly recommended and I do like him. I developed an infection in the incision but with large doses of antibiotics, I recovered. Then suddenly, last week I developed vertigo. Not the kind that responds to the Epley Maneuver or other PBV exercises. My PT was quite concerned on Thursday when I saw him and he was able to calm it down with working on my shoulder and neck muscles. He feels it is directly related to the fusion. I love life and hate being dizzy all the time. Has anyone had success with overcoming vertigo? I did notice many people have experienced vertigo after cervical fusion. Would really like some advice!
