My current problem is chronic back pain, DDD, arthritis in spine, pain weakness down right leg.
Chronic back pain since 2007.
Been seen by PC, Pain Managament, Neurologists, Physical therapists, Acupuncture, Massage Therapist.
Have had MRI, Cat Scan, Xrays, Nerve Conduction Studies etc. Most recently told I have arthritis in spine now.
Etodolac for arthritis.
I've had massage, acupuncture, physical therapy. I am implanted with a Spinal Cord Stimulator now for nearly 2 years! It helps reduce the pain by about 80%. However, it can't help with the arthritis.
Surgery is not recommended. Masking pain with the Stimulator is my plan of action for now.
Spinall Cord Stimulator implant was a minor same day surgery.
I am seeking better alternatives to deal with the arthritis pain. May I suggest you taking a look at Spine-Health sister site: http://www.arthritis-health.com/ Almost everything you need to know about Arthritis is there.
