Does foot numbness ever go away? Stem cell options?

I now have pretty severe foot numbness in both feet. It drives me nuts. My feet burn and ache particularly at night. After 7 surgeries and having "failed back syndrome", no [edit] another one is not an option..Anyone have stem cell successful?

Any other suffers out there?


  • I had L-4-5 laminectomy and synovial cyst surgery 2012..been battling the same issue in my left leg/foot since..have an EMG at the end of the month..decions about further options then..can totally relate to how you're feeling..right now I want to cut off my leg because its driving me out of my mind..just saw family Dr today and made adjustments in medications..have supporting family and friends and finding this forum has been extremely helpful..i wish I could be more helpful about answering your question about the numbness and problems you're experienceing but in my case it is not better but hopefully we can get help and be better..take care..N

  • coyotewildwoman///sorry to hear about your problems,,,i have some of the same issues with my leggs and feet,,and have failed back syndrone after a failed decompression at L4-5 and L5-s1,,,,i take 1800 mg of nneurontin a day and would assume you do to?....its the only thing that gets me through a day with my leg pain along with my other meds, of course,,,and Troop n ......i have had those thoughts about the cutting of the leg as well,,,but you would just miss it,,for sure,,my neuronntin works well for me
