Has Anyone Had a Spine Fusion with PEEK Cage and No Screws?

This has become a very complicated ordeal, so I will spare most of the details.

The surgeon that did my original L5-S1 TLIF told me prior to surgery that he was using a PEEK Cage, screws and a clamp.

When I recently had my revision surgery done a couple of weeks ago my new surgeon said that there was only a cage and a clamp, no screws.

The cage was loose and was resting on my nerves and causing all sorts of trouble. From what I have read this is always done with screws to
avoid the cage from moving.

So, that said, has anyone had this type of surgery done without the use of screws?
