Hey All,

My Name is Sandeep 30 yrs old and i am new to this group. This is the first time i am having a back pain

Coming to my case :

My Pain first started 4 weeks back when i was working out at the Gym doing a leg press with heavy weights.
I had numbness in a small part of my left thigh and the numbness went away in 2-3 days.

I visited a chiropractor and he took couple of x-rays and told me that nothing was wrong in the x-ray and it looked fine. He asked me to ice it and take some pain relievers like Aleve/Ibuprofen. The pain is not intense i would rate it as 3-4 out of 10.

I am not sure if that is a nerve damage but the doctor told me that it is Sciatica. But i do not feel any pain in my legs. My legs are perfectly alright and strong. But the pain does not go away completely. If I ice and rest for a day it goes away and comes back if i drive for 30-45 minutes.

The doctor asked to rest and told me that it goes away but it keeps coming back. I am completely lost on what should be done for it to go away completely

Can some one suggest what will be the recovery time and what should i do for this pain to go away for good. The thing that worries me is how long will it take to heal completely
