Sorry for the question in advance by but I am in pain.

I am a 34 year old male, I have never had any problems with my back or any part of my body before. I have pain in my back on and off now for a few months. I have been to the doctors who have said numerous things these include, sciatica, fractured bone on my spine and finally SJI dysfunction.

It is scaring me now as they have examined me and gave me three different things tat could be wrong with me.

I have pain on the left side on my lower back. I also have quite a bad pain in my left groin which Apis a dull aching pain that sometimes I feel in my testicles.

The pain eases in my groin when I have a hot bath.

What do you kind people think?

I'm not doubting the doctors but they have given me 3 different diagnosis.

Do my symptoms sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks for your time.

Hey Tim, I have suffered from lower back pain for more than 15 years now, and have had three back surgeries and now have a spinal cord stimulator implanted. So, I have lots of experience. First, what kind of Drs are you seeing? Neuro, Ortho?? They will have differing opinions. Have you had an MRI? If not, that should be the first step any dr should take. Sciatica is definitely a possibility with pain traveling down the leg and in the groin. But...other things could be happening as well. My heart-felt suggestion before going any further or even considering any kind of surgery is go see a good, reputable Chiropractor in your area. Have a thorough exam done. I surely wish I could have/would have done this before having any surgeries, but I was in the military and it just wasn't offered. I am now going, and it is helping some...but only so much ey can do now since I have rods and screws in my back as well as the stimulator. Surgery is always last resort.
