I have seen in a few places people actually saying they are glad chronic pain never entered their life because its made them a better person. That must be amazing to feel, but myself I cannot find one area its made me a better person besides understanding it a bit more. I was always compassionate, had empathy, non judgemental, no envy, wanted to help, confidence in myself and on and on, but I seek to think of how its made me a better person and I cannot find anything or anything that even comes close to outweighing the bad.
Am I the only one?
