Losing hair pretty rapidly after spinal fusion in April...common?

I was already balding before surgery unfortunately but it seems to be happening a lot faster now. I never noticed my hair line receding till a few mid summer.

If you've gone through a spinal fusion, did you have hair loss and it grew back? I was surely stressed before and after surgery so I would imagine that it has something to do with it. It's also been a crazy year for me in general with preparing, getting into ( before surgery) and starting grad school (after surgery - started this summer).

With all the stress, seeing my hair go rapidly just makes it even worse at this point.
