Last week was surgery time. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your opinion, I had to have 2 grueling cervical spine surgeries in 3 days. (Which I had been warned about, due to my spinal cord being bent over vertebrae, deformity, etc.,)
The surgeon ran into issues upon the first surgery (posterior) and a few extras in the second (anterior), due to things not detected on CAT scan and MRI. You name it, my poor neck had it, from a crushed or broken vertebrae, degenerative discs, myelomalacia bent spinal cord, nerves being pinched, stenosis, etc., etc. This poor spinal issue was caused by a car wreck 20 years ago and over time progressively got worse.
Anyway, I digress from my original question. Has anyone else out there had more pain a week or two after surgery? At which point did you notice the biggest change or benefit following surgery?
