I'm so nervous tonight. I am scheduled to have my very first ESI tomorrow. I have never had anything like this and I am hoping things go well.
Here is my diagnosis so far but I have pain in the cervical area now and will be having a MRI of that soon.
MRI LUMBAR SPINE WO CONTRAST.
FINDINGS: There are disc bulges with associated annular fissures are L3-4 through L5-S1,
with up to moderate spinal canal stenosis at L4-5 and bilateral facet hypertrophy with at
least moderate neural foraminal stenosis at L5-S1 bilaterally. The vertebral column
alignment is within normal limits. The vertebral body heights are preserved. The vertebral
bone marrow signal is unremarkable. The spinal cord displays normal signal and morphology.
The paravertebral soft tissues are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION: Degenerative spondylosis at L3-4 through L5-S1, with up to moderate spinal
canal stenosis at L4-5 and at least moderate neural foraminal stenosis at L5-S1
Any words of encouragement or tips, thanks everyone in advance!
