So basically I was squating at the gym, on my last set...my legs gave out. You can probably figure out on your own what happened next. I fractured 2 vertabrae (L1 and T12) and one of them is a compression fracture that has slightly decreased the size of the bone. They were going to do a procedure that invovle inserting cement into your spain through a needle to help support the compression fracture, but its mainly used on 60-70 year olds and they decided that because I'm so young that they wouldn't do it on me.
Anyway, I see a doctor tomorrow and I'll know more about whats going to happen.
I'm a pretty active person, really into weight lifting and just getting in to Muay Thai/Brazilian Juijitsu..this week has been hell for me. I literally have NOTHING to do in my free time anymore. I'm so frustrated and a little depressed now, I don't know what to do with myself. Is it cool to workout everything but my back? Anything I can do for cardio?
