Chronic foot and lower leg burning and pain

I have been dealing with burning foot pain and now lower leg pain for 3 months since my spinal fusion at t12 l1 and hemi lammy at l23.

I am taking lyrica daily and 4 Percocet 10 mg daily but it does not touch the pain very well. The pain has made daily life very hard and has really affected my mood. I also tried a transforaminal esi injection and this did not do a thing and actually made my pain worse ! Probably irritated an already sensitive area.

My pain dr has suggested fentanyl patches but I'm afraid to try. I'm at a loss looking for solutions to this constant pain. It never lets up which leads me to believe my surgeon did something wrong. The pain started right after surgery and I did not have this pain beforehand. All my calls and questions about it get a response to just wait and give it time. I feel I have been pushed along through a system that doesn't care about the patient or the finding a solution to a problem. They would rather deal with the next victim walking into their door.

Does anyone else experience this ? I'm also thinking that if this doesn't get better I may have to get a spinal cord stimulator. I don't know the success of this for treating my kind of pain. Any idea of better meds to manage this pain? Should I get a ct myelogram which one doctor has recommended to look for any cord compression ?

A discouraged spine surgery victim.
