Back muscle pain

It's been 5 weeks since I got the implant and my left shoulder muscle in my upper back is still very tender to the touch and hurts alot if im on my feet for more than ten minutes. I also get a sharp burning pain in my left rib area if I tilt my head to either side. I'm tall so this makes getting into a car very painful. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? At my two week check up my surgeon said it could be caused by the paddle migrating a bit and should go away but it's not getting any better. I don't see him again until the 21st of this month.
