Hi! I am 4 weeks post op (surgery was Sept. 10, 2015) for the first two weeks I progressively got better and then all of a sudden it was a change overnight. Constant pain in the lower back, pain down both legs, numbness down both legs and the last 3 toes on both feet. At times the bottom of my feet burn and also I lose circulation in my feet at times. I called the Dr when this started and they put me on a Medrol dose pack (which did not help). I went to see the Dr yesterday for my one month check up they did x-rays and an MRI. The MRI was abnormal but not showing major concern. The X-rays were very abnormal. The cage has dislodged and is turned, it is flush on one side....forward on another and turned at an angle. The Dr. states this explains all of my pain. The neurosurgeon was not in so I will not know the complete decision until Monday. Since yesterday the pain has gotten worse and I am getting a pinched nerve feeling in the back as well. I read up on these and supposedly this is rare and also are not normally used after one has already had a fusion. These are normally only used on the L5-S1 which I had done 2 years ago. This was done on my L4-L5....Any suggestions? Has anyone had this issue before?
