Hi all! It's been a very long time since I've been on here, and I just wanted to say, My back feels so much better! After my back surgery it took about a year too finally have barely any back pain. I have no more numbness down my legs, No severe back pain, No weakness, and I can sit and stand for more than 10 minutes! I can walk for a long time with no pain and sit for a few hours till I notice some discomfort. I do once in a while have some discomfort but it's not nearly as bad! I'd say I'm about 90 percent better :)

I just want to bring hope to some of you who are on the edge about having a spinal fusion, I know everyone is different but in my case I'm so glad I went with the surgery. If I didn't I don't know where I would be right now. My doctor did an amazing job he basically saved my life :)

I had my L4/5 Back Fusion in June 2012, I was 20 years old.
Now I'm 24 years old.
I'm 24 years old, I have had back problems since I was 17...

June 6th 2012 (I was 20 years old) On my L4/5 I got a Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (PLIF) with 4 pedicle screws, 2 rods, and 2 cages.
