How many of you have had a Myelogram and did you develop a severe headache?

If you didn't develop a headache, how do you think you prevented it?

I am having a Myelogram on Monday and normally, I am prone to migraines with nausea and vomiting. I'm terrified!

Polls are not permitted, but just changing your subject line makes in fine

  • How are you doing?

Well I wouldn't have been able to answer your question in time, since I just has my second myelogram on the 12th.

Unfortunately in my case I'm 2 for 2 on the headaches, and the second one is STILL going strong. So far the only thing I've found that helps is being able to lay flat on my back with an ice pack . Unfortunately I don't have any choice but to be at work, so I get to suffer until the end of the day. If it continues until tomorrow I may be heading back for a blood patch.
