My Patient Doctor Communication Tip

Patient Doctor
Communication Tip

I broke my own rule.

Never report more than one issue/update/symptom per email. If you expect a straight answer.
It is called a
subject______for a reason.

I emailed the Dr. to report new symptom get opinion and document.

Some Chronic Pain Patients still hoping for a cure report too much.
I'm no exception gave medication update as well
(60 days on Effexor)

My short missive included the following words/statements

Real bad week
New: Buttocks Dimples
Was shocked
Never before
New: Bad shooting pain
2 of the 3 were gone
Big increase in swelling
Pain at 7 or 8
Due to the pain levels
Crash & Burn

The Drs. responded primarily with the following:

The dimples and swelling fit with the muscles spasmimg locally in the area.
I'm glad they are better.
It sounds like you are tolerating the Effexor better and the frequently of the pain has decrease.
