Getting nervous

In about 5 hours I finally meet with the NS.
I've had my MRI - Marked stenosis C3-C7 etc.,etc., etc.
My EMG - Radiculopathy C5-T1, with involvement at the dorsal root ganglion
PT for 10 weeks, twice - the last was a year ago when they thought it was just tennis elbow
2 unsuccessful CESI's,
Bottles of NSAIDS, Darvocet, SOMA.
There are lots of scary terminology on my reports and I'm really nervous.
BUT, I'm so tired of being in pain, massive headaches, dropping things, tripping/stumbling, not being able to pick things up and never knowing on a daily basis how much pain I'm going to be in.
I'm afraid of surgery, yet I'm also afraid he'll say I'm so far gone, their is nothing he can do. :O

  • You're probably on your way to see your NS right now,.. I'm sure you'll find all about your MRI results and hopefully it's all good and will be a way of helping you with it...
Surgeries are scary no matter what but if this is the only thing to correct your problem then just start learning all about your condition and best of luck to you..

Please let's know how it goes with your NS visit and we're here for you.

    lotus :D
