Recent pain in my shoulder led me to have an ultrasound done that has revealed a torn tendon and much tendonnitis. I can hardly lift my arm straight up from my side. Lifting anything of consequence is hopeless. Laying on that shoulder is painful. So now I am at the point of trying to do more with my left arm. It is certainly affecting the quality of my life. I am just coming off Lyrica as I have been having some trouble with that pain medication so right now I am just living with the discomfort and restrictions. Has anyone had successful surgery even at an age of 60 plus. I hear results are not as good as they might be for a younger person whose tendons are perhaps not so thinning with age. Comments?
