Hi there, I'm Shannon, I guess I'll begin with a little background... I have had problems ever since I gave birth to my daughter 3 years ago. About one month after giving birth, I had a slipped disc in my lower back, 3 months of pain they finally did the MRI and found out it was indeed herniated. After about a 2 years of PT, cortizone injections, and limited movement in my living hell, I am able to manage my pain and often, "flare-ups". It can sometimes be excruciating just to move, due to my nerves in my lower back being pinched and the pain radiating down my legs, rubbing around my tailbone helps, but only when the pressure is being applied. I have semi- learned to manage that, although the past 3 months, my whole back is giving me the worst lightning bolt like pain. Feels like it's under my shoulder blade, and sometimes goes into my neck. I cannot lift my left arm very well, and that could possibly have something to do with a sore tender bump on my collorbone close to my sternum. The pain in my back is constant, but sometimes more severe than other times. It also can migrate from my left side of my slide to the right side. Pain is the same. I can't sneeze or cough without extreme pain in my whole back. I have tried massage therapy, acupuncture, done a lot of P/T, yoga! Everything is painful to do. I have no known family history, although I don't know anyone on my father's side. Pain 24/7, worse at night. I also have a cronic raspy voice with no sore throat, it is sometimes extremely painful in my back to talk and take deep breaths, not sure if that could relate to something or not. It does seem to get better a little, depending on the day, I suppose, when I get up early and do minor excersises...I don't know what to do. I am a 24YO Female, I feel like I'm too young for this pain... Please help someone..
