Ready to Quit?

You ready to Tap Out.
You ready to Ring That Bell.
Are you?

Is it that easy to give up
Give in?

Just to listen to that voice inside,.
That voice of betrayal.
The one that takes the easy way..
The one, that whispers..

Its ok...all this time
All this effort
All this distance
Just..Give Up.
Give in

Is it that easy?

Do you want to quit?
Do you want to give up?

Are you listening to the seduction of self betrayal
That sexy voice..right there on the surface
Whispers in your ear softly

Its easy to fall for the tale,
Sweet seduction

Or are you listening to that voice from on deep..
Hoarse and raw from the fight
Deep down
Right there
Where your courage sticks
Where the fire burns hot
And scalds the cold away
Squatty courage in the face of the cold
Faith is the fuel
Nothing more
No less

That fire burns hot and bright in the darkness
Youll find if you look around
There are others there
Drawn by the common and most basic need
To know your not alone

The Beast may circle
But will never take us all
Wrap the warmth of community around you
Draw close

We are Team
We work together
We are stronger as a group
You wont stand alone

Here by the fire
We wait
There is always a place here for those who fight
All you have to do is decide to fight the darkness
Shout out unto the stars and Heavens above
I am here
I will not give up
I will not give in
I will not stand and be rolled
I will not be made small
I will not shrink before the pain
I will be Victorious
I will be Strong
I will be Fierce in my fight

Yeah, though I may fall
I will not Fear..for my Brothers and Sisters are with me amd I will not be left behind.
I will not fear that darkness...
I will not Fear that pain which awaits me
I will not fear the suffering which is mine to cast aside
I will not give in to the voice of defeat
I willl not give in to the voice if fear
I will not five in to the voice of despair

For my heart is set
My Spirit..unbeaten
My soul..Mine.

Arise and take your place.

When your pain level is a 7 everyday for the last year. Yea, Im tapping out. A mile long walk hurts afterwards. I would rather stay home than go to a party and have people say...are you hurting? YES! everyday. I rang that bell, the Beast won. I am a human with rods, screws and a 14" scar in the middle of my back. My spirit has long gone. I will never be who I was. I cant be fixed. When you hear the voice of of fear and defeat. Its not like Im fine.. Lets all go biking in the woods. The fear is falling and hurting yourself, the defeat is knowing your never going to do that again. Im not done living, my soul is strong, but I am beaten.

You always help me see past the negative....even allows me to not feel guilty in moments of feeling negative....that it's okay to feel crappy, cause it is, but mostly to help me see it's my choice to get back up and get back to living life.....may be a different life, but it's mine, and I still have a lot to give and share with others...God Bless!
