Support Groups for Spinal Fusion

Does anyone know of a "live" support groups for spinal fusion? Specifically for the SF Bay Area. Surprising that I can't find any: there are support groups for minor problems, hard to believe there's no meeting space for those of us battling this tremendously frightening, lonely, surgery and its aftermath.
All SF Bay area suggestions welcome!

    you would get that information from your doctor and the physical therapy rehabilitation center.

    They generally post all that information.

  • You know thats funny, there really don't seem to be any groups. When I first had my injury, I posted about on several different "sports" forums (because that's what I'm into) and people slowly came out of the woodwork, contacting me and telling their spine stories. Very inspiring and super helpful, several of the folks were the ones most attentive in my immediate post operative period.... because they knew...
