Facet Hypertrophy Surgery???

I'm back...thats ironic...Has anyone ever has surgery for facet hypertrophy of l3, l4, l5 s1 region? Or anyone diagnosed with it? What was your course of treatment.

  • Hi! It's been awhile. There is no surgical treatment plan for this. I have enlarged facet joints in every level of my lumbar spine...which is typically caused from arthritis. I get facet joint injections, and they want to proceed with an ablation. That's about the only course of treatment for this. Feel free to PM me...I know we haven't talked in awhile.
