breathing issues

Hi everyone, I had a thoracic fusion from T4-T10. Not going well at all. Just about a year coming up. Its still like I didn't even have the surgery. But I noticed people are saying are you OK? And I say why? They say your breathing really hard. I did get an phenomena for the first time in my life last month. But Having high blood pressure and ran out of metoprolol for that, i had to go see my cardiologist. So I told him whats up. He did an echo on my heart and slapped a zio patch on me to monitor my heart now. Is there any connection with the fusion and breathing? I cant take a deep breath, and I do breath hard. I do have Kyphosis, not bad, but for taking to long to get the surgery done. Plus the surgeon could not straighten me out, but just stabilized me. Putting two and two together it makes sense. But has anyone dealt with this. Its bad enough to deal with the pain now something else.
