Holidays and Spines

I am sure that everyone regardless of faith, belief, etc is gearing up for the Holiday season.

It is always a very joyful time for so many people. The same holds true for us spineys.

BUT, a word of caution. While there are so many things that need to get done.....

  • - Shopping
    - Cleaning
    - Cooking
    - Planning
    - Decorating
    - And then started over at the top again
All of this can place an increase amount of strain on our bodies. So, please be extra careful during this season to
avoid any flareups. Please try to include

  • - A few more rests
    - Watching how your bend, twist, lift
    - Limit the time of work each day
    - Solicit help with some of the chores
    - Do not over do it
Just try to be aware of your condition and take that into consideration with everything you do. Remember, if you push too hard now,
you may wind up with a flare up that could make your holiday season not very enjoyable.

My one wish to everyone. Stay within yourself , stay healthy and avoid any additional problems.
