I'm 17 years-old and recently I had an x-ray. This showed I have muscle spasms in my lumbar region, but there was nothing wrong with my skeleton structure. I have had back problems for over a year. I would wake up with a stiff back or have a couple days with moderate pain, but then it would subside and I would be okay. For a bout a month now though I have been experiencing the worst back pain I have ever felt in my life, consistently. I went to the doctor's which is how I got my x-ray and now I'm on a regimen where I take two anti-flammatory meds a day, use a heat pad and stretch. I'm also hoping to start a light exercise routine during Winter break, probably just walking and/or using an exercise bike. I just don't know what to do anymore. My back hurts every single day. I cannot even walk up stairs anymore. It hurts when I sit and I stand and I walk and honestly anything. I haven't done any sports in 4 years. I simply don't understand why I have this back pain in the prime of my life, especially considering I don't have anything wrong skeletaly. If you have any tips or any information about what condition might be causing this I would be so grateful. Thank you so much.
