Pump with Prialt

Hello. I got my pump in February of this year with Prialt as the medication. It has been a total nightmare!!! I did an 8 hour trial and things went amazing. I was able to bend of an touch my toes, something I hadn't been able to do since before my L5-S1 fusion in 2007. I was completely pain free and aside from the nausea (which the Dr. told me could be controlled with medication), I was sold!!!
After getting the pump they kept slowly upping my dosage to provide pain relief. By the time I had my third dosage increase, I starting going crazy. I would hear music when there wasn't any, my speech was slurred if I got excited. I started mixing up words, knowing the were wrong when coming out of my mouth. Ex. I was talking to my daughter about a pillow top comforter, but kept saying "flower pot" knowing it was the wrong word. I would be driving and not know where I was going, etc.
so... I had my dosage lowered. I feel better mentally but that's it. I have a whole new host of issues: muscle spasms, pain at the top of the catheter scar, pain/tightness around the pump itself, and mild incontinence. Has anyone else had these issues?
The doctor who did my surgery left the hospital shortly after my surgery and they have not replaced him. The CNP that i deal with is fine, but doesn't really seem o know what to say, but they wont give me anything for my pain, though they did give my muscle relaxers for the spasms.
She finally suggested that we try morphine in my pump instead, which I am considering.
Looking to see if anyone else had any issues with Prialt or their pump similar to mine and also would like to hear from anyone using morphine.
