Hello, i am 23years old and was wondering if someone could help me out.

For the past 3yrs give or take a month my back has been bothering me if i sleep more than 5hour or so. I try not to sleep for long periods of time but say like last night i went out got drunk and when i got home slept for 9hrs.....if took me wh about an hour to get out of bed and get dressed because of the excruciating pain my back felt like a wooden bored with little to no flex. I am now at the computer with the pain still ligering its now been 3hours since i shimmyed out of bed.

So the pain is im my back from just bellow my neck to just above my ass its painful well if i move any were worst when i twist through some times i get a sharp pain in my neck but its rare and also rare my hips will get tight. I have elbow shoulder wrist hand and feet problems also but this is a spinal forum right lol

I have been to doctors and they just keep saying im to young for this had a xray lady said again to young for this...i say to them that me being to young doesnt help me went to therapy guy said i had a twisted vertebra after weeks he fixed it if feels better during the day now but the sleeping to long is still a problem

Now that thats out of the way what should i do???
Go see more docs?
Keep doing the slue of exercises the docs gave me that are not helping?
Limit myself to 5hours of sleep?

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Hip and pain with feet can be related to spine, also.

Curious.... Which doctor ordered your X-rays and physical therapy Was it your primary?
Have you seen a spine specialist?

My primary tried to work with my pain about two years before referring me to pain management...and he's specialist for my spine.
He did a variety of other testing, not done or even suggested previously.

He was then able to better treat my issues and also come up with plans B, C....

After clicking on and reading the "Am I too young?" information, you'll be better aware that you are not alone.
It is encouraging so you can continue being best at advocating for yourself.

When I was young- yes there once was that time! my friends and I, we'd all crash at someone's house, sleep on floors, cushions, couches, hammocks... whatever! When I was still young I realized that I couldn't just sleep anywhere! While my friends were buying music systems and computers I was buying a better mattress!

And I keep upgrading my mattresses! I had bought a really expensive, pillow-top, firm, blah, blah, blah.... and it hurt when I slept on it for too long! Now I'm sleeping on a memory foam but it's not one of those expensive mattresses. It's 8 inches think and it's sublime! Every bit of my body is supported and I sleep like the dead! (Oh if I have a new injury or excessive strain I know that too- it's not magic!)

It seems like such a no brainer but we forget! You sleep a third of your day. Sleeping in comfort may be a few $100 away! (I paid just about $200 for what I dream on!)
