Chronic pain that seems to be worsening

Hi everyone. I'm a 33-year-old male
To cut a long story short , I had an accident in August 2014 .
Hurt my back and had various trips to docs, chiro, physio. I finally got an MRI scan only on lower back which revealed bulging disk L4/L5 with
disk degeneration, I was basically told to get on with life as this was common. I had to quit my job in construction as I can't do it anymore due to pain.
Now when I wake up each morning I really struggle to walk, sitting down makes the pain worse.
I also have an over-curved spine in the Thoracic area which really hurts when I lay down flat which also causes extreme pain in my ribs area and also I can feel swelling behind my right shoulder blade area.
I am constantly having bad headaches and after any period of physical exersion I actually feel like I'm about to die as if my body wants to give up on me. I was refused an MRI on my upper back and told to basically stop moaning as the spinal specialist has seen people with my issues have no pain at all. I am at a loose end now as I feel the pain is getting worse and more disabling each day.
Would it be wise to pay for a recommended chiro ? or could this make my problems worse ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Spine-Health Forum Rule:
5.11 You agree not to make duplicate threads.

was put in place to avoid confusion on the boards.

Many people think if they duplicate their thread on several different forum categories, their message will get to more members and responses will follow.

Unfortunately, this does not happen.

Member A creates Thread "A" on Forum category: Lower Back Pain
Then creates Thread "A" on Forum category :New Member Introductions
Then creates Thread "A" on forum category: Conditions Not covered.

So now, we have 3 Thread "A" all which are 100% duplicates.

Member B sees Thread "A" in Lower back pain and responds.
Member C sees Thread "A" in Conditions not covered
No one reads Thread "A" in New Member conditions

We now have different posts in the different forum categories but addressing the same subject.

We lose any thread/post continuity. The though process is lost and other members may never read the other Thread "A"

That is the real reason this rule is in place!
